Desert Dome Studio
“Music for Music’s Sake”

Desert Dome Studio exists to serve the music first…providing artists with a space where sound can breathe and records can take shape without compromise. The Dez Dome feels like “ Hospitality on Steroids” surrounded by Joshua trees.

You instantly Relax. The Desert just hits different. Perhaps somethin’ in the air or just the open sky but it’s nice to get loud in the Quiet.

Designed in an environment that supports focused, intentional work, it has set a blueprint for sonically rich results. We don’t fix it in the computer. You just play it right. We Gotchoo. And leaving happy is the goal.

As a recording studio, Dez Dome offers full-service production for local and remote artists alike. Services include professional tracking, mixing, and hybrid analog production, with a particular emphasis on drum sounds, guitar & bass tones, live instrumentation, and performance-driven recordings.

The studio is equipped to support full-band projects in all genres. All Instruments more than welcomed as they are captured perfectly in the space. The wierder the better. We’re not scared.

Let’s tell your story through YOUR SOUND.

Nobody sounds the same. No A.I. We dig good humans. We also love Aliens. After all this is the Desert.

Anyway lets get back to it.

Your Mind . Your Dome.

  • Come get Creative.

  • Make a record. Make Art. Make it Count.

  • Print it to vinyl.

  • Share it and sell it at your gigs.

  • Then come back to the DezDome and Do it again.

The adobe-styled home is owned by Vaz, Yael and Baloo the studio dawg. The Recording Studio is operated by Yael Rallis, a DW Drums artist, producer, recording engineer, and all around creative human working extensively as a musician since her teen years. If you need to know more about Yael read on a bit.

All the relationships from gigs around the world, recording and writing with bands, varied projects and performances officially created the term, LiFER. Yael loves real music and truth. “It’s always about real connection”

Built around Yael’s approach to sound and performance, DezDome reflects decades of experience behind the kit, and from the control room. The studio’s design prioritizes natural acoustics, ambience, expansive drum tones, and an analog-hybrid workflow that allows artists to capture recordings that feel alive, dimensional, and Get Rad.
